Sankofa Workers Development, LLC was founded with a clear purpose: too many businesses are struggling to open, stay open, or prevent losing everything they have built. We saw the gap and built a network to fill it.
We are a referral and resource network — not a broker, not a consultant, not a lender. We are connectors. Our job is simple: put the business that needs help with the people who can help them.
Our services are free to the businesses we serve because we are paid by the credit card companies, financial institutions, and service companies we refer our clients to — not by the clients themselves. In 90% of cases, there is no cost to the business at all.

Tony Maye founded Sankofa Workers Development, LLC with a mission rooted in community and practical action. Having witnessed firsthand how many businesses struggle simply because they do not know where to turn for resources, Tony built a network designed to change that.
As a Business Resource Network, Sankofa operates as an independent contractor referral company — connecting businesses with the credit, financial, and service partners they need, at no cost to the business. Tony's approach is direct, personal, and built on trust: get the right people in the room, and businesses can survive anything.
